		<description>I&#039;m less interested in the actual content of the letters--because, let&#039;s face it, it all boils down to &quot;good try, but no&quot;--than I am with the form that they come in. I think the serious slaps in the face are e-mail rejection letters. 

I mean, you gave them an admission fee, they could, in the very least, spare a piece of paper, envelope, and postage. I am not opposed to an email as a courtesy--as in, we&#039;ll send you an email as a courtesy because we know you want to know sooner rather than later, but we&#039;ll also send you a letter.

It shows thought and I think everyone just wants to feel that they were seriously considered, but email is fair too quick and easy and impersonal.</description>
