Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, creators are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to creators that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The Creator(s) has read and understood Harlot’s five criteria in the categories of success, significance, accessibility, personality, and ethics and have attempted to craft the submission accordingly.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another publication for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- For textual submissions, the file is in one of the following file formats: Open Office (.sxw), rich text (.rtf), Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx), or web (.html).
Image, audio, and video files should be submitted in high quality formats to be modified for web publication. Graphics should be in .gif, .jpeg, or .png file formats; audio should be in .wav or .mp3 file formats; and video should be in .mpeg, .avi, or .mov file extensions. - For textual files with embedded objects, all media, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate locations.
- Sources have been attributed according to APA, MLA, or Chicago style. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- Instructions for Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Creators who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:
