I have this feeling that the creators of Postsecret and ToDoList are huge fans of Found Magazine. For those who are unfamiliar with this gem go here: http://www.foundmagazine.com/
My pet theory is that we love to view personal items where we can’t fill out the rhetorical situation. Our inability to construct the situation–audience, context, etc.–in which these notes are constructed is precisely the thrill.
